What is the workflow of the Integrate System ?

The Integrated System of FILTRATION, the waste-management and waste-to-energy power plant megastructure, can be summarized as follows:

  • Transport to Apex of the Building: The seawater, along with the collected garbage, is pumped to the top of the skyscraper.

  • Filtration and Separation: At the apex of the building, the system filters the water and separates recyclable materials from non-recyclable ones. This process cleans the seawater and extracts valuable recyclables.

  • Gravity-Based Distribution: The filtered water and recyclable materials are then distributed down the building using gravity. This eliminates the need for complex conveyor systems used in traditional Material Recovery Facilities.

  • Tidal Power Transport: Non-recycled materials and the recyclables are transported away from the tower using tidal power, ensuring efficient waste management.

  • Modular Attachments: FILTRATION's core structure allows for various facilities and plants to be attached, such as Plastic Recycling Facilities and Waste-to-energy Power Plants, which can be arranged vertically around the tower's foundation.

  • Modular and Replaceable Components: Most of the facilities are composed of modular parts, making it possible to replace and customize components as needed.

  • Sustainability and Regeneration: This system provides a sustainable and regenerative solution to floating waste, addressing the issue of marine debris while also contributing to waste-to-energy production and a more harmonious relationship between nature and humanity.

The FILTRATION is a multifaceted waste management and recycling system that efficiently processes floating garbage in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, generates energy from waste, and promotes sustainability through its modular and adaptable design.
